Newsweek Editor Declares Obama 'is sort of God'

It seems that the groundwork for Revelation's prophecy about the global worship of the Antichrist has begun. Is Obama the antichrist? Maybe, maybe not, but we are definitely living in a fallen world where people call a man "God!" And we know that Commandment Number One is to have no other gods before the One True God.
Newsweek editor Evan Thomas brought adulation over President Obama's Cairo speech to a whole new level on Friday, declaring on MSNBC: "Well we were the good guys in 1984, it hasn’t felt that way in recent years, so Obama really has a different task. We’re seen too often as the bad guys. And he has a very different job. Reagan was all about America. He talked about it. Obama is…we are above that now, we are not just parochial, we're not just chauvinistic. We’re not just provincial. We stand for something. In a way, Obama is standing above the country, above the world. He’s sort of God.
"All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been [a]written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain."
Revelation 13:8 NASB

A great commentary here: "The Antichrist and Mr. Obama"

In his comment, Mr Thomas struggles to find words that will illustrate the depth of the difference between Obama as compared to other Presidents, other leaders, even. In Daniel 7:24 it states that the antichrist will be "different from the previous ones."
